Digital Service Operations Specialist

About the role

The Digital Service Operations Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting operational support systems. The role ensures continuous system performance, security, and data integrity while providing technical assistance to end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy updates to operational support applications.
• Provide first‑line technical support and resolve system incidents promptly.
• Conduct system health checks and monitor performance to pre‑empt issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and network teams to address performance bottlenecks and apply security patches.
• Coordinate with other departments to support web services and operational applications.
• Document incidents and resolutions according to IT support processes.
• Work with security teams to keep systems up‑to‑date with security protocols and identify vulnerabilities.
• Liaise with vendors for troubleshooting, support, and enhancements.
• Manage software licensing, ensuring accurate sizing and timely renewals.
• Implement backup procedures and assist in data recovery operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT operations or system support.
• Advanced competency in domain knowledge, quality management, fault resolution, IT incident management, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Intermediate competency in creativity, proactivity, and ethics & compliance.
