Director of Human Resources

About the role

The Director of Human Resources will join the executive committee of The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort and report directly to the General Manager. This senior leader will shape HR strategy, drive talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management and employee engagement across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the property’s Human Resources strategy aligned with brand and business objectives.
• Lead talent acquisition, workforce planning and succession management for all hotel functions.
• Oversee performance management, employee development and engagement survey initiatives.
• Monitor and promote effective use of the myHR system by managers and staff.
• Serve as change manager for high‑impact HR initiatives and present HR metrics at owners’ meetings.
• Collaborate with the Regional Senior Director of HR on cross‑property initiatives.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with 4 years relevant experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 2 years experience.
• Proven experience in HR leadership within hospitality or a comparable service‑focused environment.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the myHR HR information system.
