Director of Spa

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Spa to lead all aspects of our spa operations in Al Mouj, Muscat. The role oversees programs, services, facilities, and staff, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and strong financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall spa operations, including programs, services, hours, facilities, and staff.
• Supervise salon, skin care, fitness, wellness, massage, reservations, reception, and locker room areas.
• Direct the management team and hourly employees to execute daily operations.
• Select vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee retail product research, selection, purchasing, and display.
• Control inventory, supplies, and uniform procurement.
• Monitor actual and projected sales, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.
• Develop and coordinate group services, gifting programs, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
• Ensure spa services are integrated into property marketing and advertising.
• Manage payroll, operating budgets, and controllable expenses to achieve financial goals.
• Lead customer service excellence, empowering staff to deliver high‑quality guest experiences.
• Conduct human‑resources activities such as reviewing feedback and managing staff performance.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field with 4 years relevant experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 2 years experience.
• Proven experience in spa operations, guest services, front‑desk, sales or marketing.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, inventory control, vendor management and revenue forecasting.
• Ability to lead and develop teams, and to drive continuous improvement in service and financial performance.
