Drilling Solution Engineer – Omani Nationals Only

About the role

As a Drilling Solution Engineer, you will provide technical support and expertise for drilling operations, working closely with clients, drilling engineers and on‑site teams to ensure safe and efficient project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to define drilling objectives and develop tailored solutions.
• Perform engineering analysis to optimise parameters such as weight on bit, drilling fluid properties and drill‑string configurations.
• Monitor real‑time drilling operations, offering technical guidance to rig crews.
• Conduct post‑well analysis to assess performance and recommend improvements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including reports, procedures and best‑practice guidelines.
• Utilise advanced drilling software and data‑analytics tools to minimise risk and enhance efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies and regulatory changes.
• Present technical findings to clients, management and at industry conferences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate technical information.
• Effective time‑management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Customer‑focused attitude and strong teamwork capabilities.
