About the role
The Duty Manager ensures smooth hotel operations during assigned shifts, acting as the primary point of contact for guests and staff. This role focuses on maintaining high service standards, resolving issues promptly, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day hotel operations across front desk, housekeeping, and security.
- Address and resolve guest concerns, complaints, and emergencies efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of public areas and facilities to uphold quality standards.
- Support front desk activities, including check‑ins, check‑outs, and guest interactions.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective communication and seamless service delivery.
- Maintain accurate shift records, incident reports, and guest interaction logs.
- Assist in training, onboarding, and guiding new colleagues.
