About the role

CACTUS is looking for an experienced editor to help researchers worldwide publish their Earth Science and Environmental Science manuscripts in top journals. You will combine language expertise with subject‑area knowledge to ensure high‑quality scientific English.

Key responsibilities

• Edit manuscripts so the final text meets standard scientific English and is free of unclear or unidiomatic sentences.
• Follow job‑specific guidelines and format papers according to the target journal when required.
• Ensure all subject‑specific conventions are correctly applied.

Required profile

• PhD degree in Earth Science, Environmental Science or a closely related field.
• Excellent English proficiency with strong attention to detail.
• Prior editing experience is highly desirable.
