Enterprise Architect

About the role

The Enterprise Architect will shape and govern the bank’s technology architecture across all domains, ensuring alignment with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and Oman’s Vision 2040 digital agenda. This senior role bridges business objectives with technology execution, delivering secure, scalable, and future‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture framework covering business, data, application, and technology domains.
• Develop and enforce architecture standards, principles, reference models, and design patterns.
• Lead solution architecture for strategic, complex initiatives, including integration, API, cloud, and core banking platforms.
• Contribute to the technology roadmap and multi‑cloud strategy aligned with business goals.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and vendor solutions, providing recommendations.
• Ensure all designs comply with security, regulatory, and risk management requirements.
• Participate in architecture governance forums and provide guidance to project teams, vendors, and system integrators.
• Document architecture artefacts such as capability models, system landscapes, and data flows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT architecture, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Professional certification in enterprise or solution architecture (e.g., TOGAF, OCI Architect Professional) highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of security‑by‑design, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
