Enterprise Risk Manager

About the role

The Enterprise Risk Manager will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of IGC’s enterprise risk management (ERM) framework. Based in Muscat, this full‑time position ensures that risk identification, assessment and mitigation are embedded across all strategic and operational activities of the gas allocation business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and embed an enterprise‑wide risk management framework aligned with ISO 31000 and COSO ERM.
• Conduct risk assessments for gas allocation, contracts, commercial activities and major projects.
• Monitor key risk indicators, produce risk insights and report to Executive Management and governance committees.
• Lead business continuity and organizational resilience initiatives.
• Strengthen governance, compliance and internal control structures.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit, Compliance, Legal, Information Security and business functions to deliver integrated assurance.
• Promote a strong risk culture through stakeholder engagement and capability development.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Governance, Compliance or Internal Audit, with leadership responsibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional certifications such as COSO ERM, CRM, FRM, PMI‑RMP, CRMA or CIA are highly desirable.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, Infrastructure or Industrial sectors.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder‑management and executive‑communication skills.
