Escrow and Custodian Relationship Manager

About the role

The Escrow and Custodian Relationship Manager will lead the business and administration of escrow and custodian services, overseeing the full lifecycle from origination to daily operations. You will act as the central point of contact for the bank’s escrow and custodian portfolio, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to meet client needs and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Market cash‑management solutions, focusing on escrow and custodian services, to existing corporate customers.
• Originate new business opportunities and support corporate relationship managers with client queries.
• Structure solutions within approved frameworks and evaluate account‑opening documentation.
• Review and validate escrow and custodian agreements, prepare transaction memos, and coordinate transaction processing and reconciliation.
• Ensure internal custodian requirements such as pledge creation and lien marking are satisfied before securities release.
• Maintain accurate transaction records, collect fees and commissions, and register incident reports.
• Handle internal audit queries and stay updated on industry trends and bank training programs.
• Convert onboarded clients to digital banking platforms and cross‑sell additional corporate and retail products.

Required profile

• University graduate in Banking, Business Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Corporate Banking, Global Transaction Banking, or a similar role.
• Proven ability to work autonomously with a strong focus on quality.
