Experienced Audit Associate – Deloitte Oman

About the role

We are seeking an Experienced Associate to join Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance team in Oman. The role involves delivering high‑quality audits, applying accounting standards, and supporting clients in meeting regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform risk assessment procedures and evaluate risks of material misstatement.
• Execute audit engagements using Deloitte’s Global Audit Imperatives, methodology and tools.
• Apply relevant accounting standards, local laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with ethical and independence requirements.
• Formulate judgments and conclusions to produce informative, timely audit outputs.
• Collaborate with senior team members and contribute to the overall quality of the audit.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Auditing or a related field with strong academic credentials.
• 2‑3 years of experience in accounting, auditing or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving abilities and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments and work both independently and within a team.
• Fluent in English; bilingual Arabic/English is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of applicable accounting standards and audit procedures.
• Understanding of local Omani regulations and compliance requirements.
