F&B Attendant

About the role

The Food & Beverage Attendant delivers friendly, efficient, and professional service to guests in a hotel dining environment. You will ensure high‑quality service, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, and support smooth operations across the restaurant, buffet, and bar areas.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly, set up tables, service areas and buffet stations according to standards.
• Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Provide menu knowledge, promote specials and answer guest queries.
• Maintain a clean, organized dining area; clear and reset tables promptly.
• Handle guest requests, questions and complaints professionally, escalating when needed.
• Replenish service items, condiments, cutlery and other supplies.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar and other departments to ensure seamless service.
• Process bills and payments accurately when required.
• Assist with opening, closing and cleaning duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Previous experience in food and beverage service is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a positive, friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
• Professional appearance and grooming standards.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
