Finance Controller

About the role

The company, a leading investment holding group in Oman with operations in transport and logistics for the oil and gas sector, is seeking an experienced Finance Controller. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire finance and accounting function, ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and maintaining strong internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance and accounts teams across the organization.
• Prepare and present financial statements and management reports.
• Develop, monitor and update annual budgets and forecasts.
• Implement and maintain robust internal control procedures.
• Coordinate with business units to support strategic financial decisions.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Finance Manager in large corporate environments.
• Proven ability to lead finance functions and manage cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience in logistics, transport, or oil & gas sectors is an advantage.
• Prior work experience in the Middle East is preferred.
