Food & Beverage Attendant – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Join the InterContinental Muscat team as a Food & Beverage Attendant, delivering true luxury through attentive service in our dining outlets. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring memorable dining experiences in a fast‑paced, upscale environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, take orders, and provide a memorable dining experience.
• Accurately relay orders to the kitchen and bar, and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Set up tables, maintain cleanliness, and prepare the dining area for the next guests.
• Assist in preparing beverages such as coffee and cocktails, and support basic food preparation when needed.
• Manage inventory, restock supplies, and handle guest payments accurately.
• Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Address guest complaints or issues professionally and courteously.

Required profile

• Previous experience in food & beverage service in hotels, restaurants, or serviced residences (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Background in an international luxury hotel chain with GCC exposure.
• Fluency in English (required); Arabic fluency preferred.
• Knowledge of food and beverage standards, hygiene, and safety practices.
