Food & Beverages Hostess

About the role

The Food & Beverages Hostess ensures guests feel welcomed, comfortable and well‑served throughout their dining experience at Alila Jabal Akhdar. You will deliver friendly, high‑quality service in line with the hotel’s luxury standards, adapting to indoor and outdoor settings.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm smile, address them by name when possible, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Serve food and beverages following the established sequence of service and timing guidelines.
• Operate the cash‑handling and POS systems according to company policies, without access to void or manager reports.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, beverages, and special offerings to answer guest queries.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the dining area.
• Adhere to health, safety, fire and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Perform incidental duties that enhance guest enjoyment and support overall outlet efficiency.

Required profile

• Honest, reliable and punctual, with a professional appearance and uniform.
• Flexibility to work any shift required by the outlet’s business needs.
• Ability to work in varied environments, including outdoor, smoky or weather‑exposed settings.
• Physical capability to handle occasional heavy lifting.

Required skills

• Operation of POS (point‑of‑sale) and cash‑handling systems.
