Fraud Risk Senior Manager

About the role

The Fraud Risk Senior Manager provides enterprise-wide leadership and strategic oversight of the Bank's fraud risk management framework, covering prevention, detection, investigation and response across all business lines. The role advises Executive Management and Board-level committees, ensures compliance with CBO regulations and international best practice, and leads complex fraud matters with regulators and external stakeholders. It also holds strategic oversight of the Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the bank-wide fraud risk strategy, framework and operating model, aligned with risk appetite, regulation and Board policies
• Lead fraud risk assessments, scenario analysis and thematic reviews, and review new products and digital initiatives from a fraud risk perspective
• Lead fraud incident investigations, including evidence gathering and root cause analysis, and approve outcomes and remediation for material cases
• Oversee fraud detection systems, analytics and alert management, and ensure consistent investigation standards
• Present fraud risk dashboards and loss trends to Executive Management and Board committees, and act as main contact with regulators and law enforcement
• Support regulatory examinations, thematic reviews and audit engagements, and maintain fraud policies, controls and KRI metrics

Required profile

• Omani nationals only
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management or a related field
• Certifications such as CFE or audit/risk qualifications preferred
• Minimum 8 years of experience in fraud risk management, operational risk or audit within banking
