About the role
The General Manager will lead Mövenpick Hotel Muscat Bausher, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving operational efficiency and profitability. This senior position reports to corporate leadership and works closely with owners and local partners.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to meet business objectives and enhance performance.
- Lead and inspire a diverse team across rooms, food & beverage, sales & marketing, and finance.
- Maintain the highest standards of guest service and satisfaction.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and overall financial performance.
- Build strong relationships with owners, corporate leaders, and community stakeholders.
- Drive revenue growth through innovative marketing and business development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, brand standards, and company policies.
- Monitor quality assurance programs and stay informed on industry trends.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a General Manager in hospitality or a related field.
- Strong track record in strategic planning and project leadership.
- Exceptional leadership and team‑development abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commercial acumen with solid financial management expertise.
Required skills
- In‑depth knowledge of hotel operations, including rooms division, food & beverage, and MICE.
- Proficiency in revenue management and performance optimisation.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities in fast‑paced environments.
