Head of HR and Administration

About the role

The Head of HR and Administration will lead the company's human resources and administrative functions, ensuring they are aligned with business objectives and local regulations. This senior position reports to senior management and is responsible for building a high‑performance culture across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, talent retention and succession planning, including Omanisation targets.
• Manage performance appraisal, employee development, and leadership programmes.
• Handle employee relations, resolve conflicts and promote a positive workplace environment.
• Direct compensation, benefits and payroll administration, ensuring market competitiveness.
• Lead administrative services, facilities management and asset accountability.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, HSE policies and data‑protection regulations.
• Prepare HR and administration reports, analyse metrics and support decision‑making.
• Monitor budgets, optimise resource utilisation and develop manpower plans with department heads.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; MBA or advanced HR degree preferred.
• Relevant HR certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) are advantageous.
• 12+ years of HR and administration experience, with at least 8 years in a managerial role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proven track record in talent management, employee relations, Omanisation programmes and regulatory compliance.
