Heavy Equipment Service Supervisor

About the role

The Heavy Equipment Service Supervisor will lead the field service team in Muscat, ensuring efficient, safe and profitable service operations for heavy machinery. The role focuses on maintaining high customer satisfaction while meeting performance targets and KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Drive achievement of service department objectives and field service KPIs.
• Maintain quality, condition and optimal use of technician toolboxes and service tools.
• Ensure field service vehicles are adequate, well‑maintained and reflect a professional company image.
• Plan, organise and schedule work to meet target completion dates and optimise technician utilisation.
• Coordinate timely ordering of parts and tools to avoid delays for field technicians.
• Prepare customer quotations and monitor repair efficiency to maximise profitability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 7‑10 years of relevant experience, including supervising service technicians.
• Proven ability to analyse equipment failures and recommend technical solutions.
• Experience with Caterpillar equipment or other heavy machinery is highly preferred.
