Host/Hostess

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Host/Hostess to join our Food & Beverage team at our Muscat property. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating experience throughout their visit.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size and escort them to clean, properly set tables.
• Pull out chairs, place menus, and ensure each guest has a napkin, clean silverware and any other required items.
• Arrange tables and seating for groups with special needs and monitor dining room flow.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Check menus for current, clean, and wrinkle‑free copies.
• Observe safety, service standards and report any accidents or unsafe conditions.
• Uphold uniform and personal appearance standards and protect company assets.
• Answer telephone calls with professional etiquette and support team goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
