Hotel Operations Manager – Asset Management

About the role

This position supports a hospitality investment and asset management group in Oman, overseeing the performance of a portfolio of owned hotels. The role sits within the Asset Management department and focuses on owner‑side oversight rather than day‑to‑day property operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and improve hotel portfolio performance from an ownership perspective.
• Review operating results, budgets, forecasts, cash‑flow statements and capex plans.
• Challenge and support hotel operators to align with owner objectives.
• Conduct asset reviews, property inspections and operational audits.
• Evaluate service, maintenance, brand compliance and operator performance.
• Analyse market trends, competitive positioning and revenue opportunities.
• Prepare asset‑management reports, dashboards, benchmarking analysis and performance updates.
• Support portfolio strategy, asset repositioning, due‑diligence, operator transitions and investment decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of progressive hospitality experience, including hotel operations, asset management, revenue management, owner representation or hospitality advisory.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability to review financial and operational performance.
• Comfortable engaging with hotel operators, brand representatives, senior leadership and internal stakeholders.
