HR Business Partner – Manager (HRBP)

About the role

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic ally to business leaders, aligning people strategies with organisational goals. This senior HR role blends strategic partnership with hands‑on oversight of compensation, benefits, and payroll to deliver compliant, employee‑focused services.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with department heads to translate operational priorities into HR initiatives, including workforce planning, talent management, and organisational development.
• Lead performance‑management cycles, coach managers on reviews, and monitor evaluation quality.
• Administer compensation and benefits, conduct salary benchmarking, and support annual salary‑review and bonus processes.
• Oversee monthly payroll in collaboration with Finance, ensuring accuracy, legal compliance (Omani Labour Law, tax, social insurance), and confidentiality.
• Provide employee‑relations support, manage grievances, and drive engagement and retention programmes.
• Support restructuring, change‑management, succession planning, and Omanisation targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR business partnering, compensation & benefits, and payroll administration.
• Strong knowledge of Omani Labour Law and Omanisation requirements.
• Ability to analyse workforce metrics and advise on organisational effectiveness.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills for managers and employees.

Required skills

• HRIS (Human Resources Information System) proficiency.
