HR & Recruitment Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented HR & Recruitment Specialist to join our fast‑growing online marketplace and e‑commerce business. This full‑time position will support all aspects of recruitment, onboarding, employee records, HR operations, compliance and employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment: post jobs, screen candidates, conduct interviews, shortlist and coordinate with hiring managers.
• Handle employee onboarding, ensuring new hires receive documents, tools, system access and orientation.
• Maintain accurate employee records, including contracts, attendance, leave balances, performance data and personal documents.
• Support payroll preparation by tracking attendance, overtime, commissions and deductions.
• Ensure compliance with Omani labour laws, visa requirements and internal HR policies.
• Prepare and manage HR documentation such as contracts, offer letters, warning letters, salary certificates and experience letters.
• Assist with performance reviews, feedback, disciplinary actions and improvement plans.
• Address employee concerns, escalating sensitive matters to management when needed.
• Collaborate with management on workforce planning, hiring needs and organisational structure.
• Develop a structured recruitment pipeline to improve hiring quality and reduce time‑to‑hire.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in HR, administration, recruitment or employee operations.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, employment documentation, attendance and leave management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
