About the role

The Industry Sector Head will lead a sector‑specific corporate banking portfolio, driving growth while safeguarding asset quality. You will shape client strategies, originate high‑value lending and fee opportunities, and build deep relationships with key corporates and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage sector‑specific corporate banking portfolios.
• Develop and execute industry‑driven client strategies.
• Originate high‑quality lending and fee‑based opportunities.
• Ensure robust credit quality and continuous portfolio monitoring.
• Build and maintain relationships with key corporate clients and stakeholders.
• Align lending activities with sectoral priorities and regulatory frameworks.
• Lead, mentor, and set performance targets for Relationship Managers and analysts.
• Coordinate with support functions to meet business timelines.
• Participate in business plan development and new product initiatives.
• Monitor compliance with internal policies and CBO regulations.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree (MBA, CFA, CA or equivalent finance qualification preferred).
• Minimum 12 + years of corporate banking experience.
• Proven track record in client coverage, credit, and business development.
• Strong understanding of industry dynamics, risk frameworks, and regulatory environments.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑management capabilities.
