IT Expert – Oman

About the role

The IT Expert will be responsible for maintaining and supporting a complex IT infrastructure across server, storage, virtualization, and networking environments. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage both proprietary and open‑source technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Manage Dell server and chassis environments and NetApp storage systems.
• Provision, install, maintain, and support VMware Enterprise environments.
• Administer Microsoft services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, and Exchange.
• Maintain Linux and Ubuntu servers.
• Operate VEEAM Enterprise Backup and execute disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Configure and manage IP telephony using Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
• Administer Fortinet security products (FortiGate, FortiMail, FortiSIEM) and XDR solutions.
• Work with Broadcom and Boldon James security tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of Dell, NetApp, VMware, and Microsoft stack technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux/Ubuntu administration.
• Familiarity with backup and disaster‑recovery processes using VEEAM.
• Understanding of IP telephony and Cisco CUCM.
• Experience with Fortinet security suite and XDR solutions.
