Legal Advisor – Real Estate & Investment Lawyer

About the role

The Legal Advisor – Lawyer will join a dynamic team in Muscat, providing expert legal counsel on real‑estate investments, development projects and fund operations. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on ensuring compliance with Omani laws and supporting the company’s growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on real‑estate acquisitions, joint ventures, financing and stakeholder partnerships.
• Review, draft and negotiate contracts, shareholders’ agreements, MOUs, NDAs and other commercial documents.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks across the portfolio.
• Advise on labour, employment and governance matters.
• Coordinate with external counsel and prepare legal reports for senior management.
• Develop policies and procedures that promote transparent and compliant business practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of relevant legal experience, preferably in Oman.
• Proven experience advising companies, investors and commercial organisations.
• Hands‑on experience with investment, corporate, commercial and contractual matters in the Sultanate of Oman.
• Experience dealing with Omani government authorities and regulatory bodies.

Required skills

• Legal drafting and negotiation of commercial and investment agreements.
• Conducting legal due‑diligence for investment opportunities.
• Strong knowledge of Omani corporate law, foreign investment regulations and relevant government platforms (e.g., Ministry of Commerce, Oman Business Platform, Tax Authority, Ministry of Labour, Royal Oman Police immigration, Muscat Municipality).
