Legal Counselor – INGO Registration in Oman

About the role

Pathfinder International, a global nonprofit focused on sexual and reproductive health, is seeking an experienced Legal Counselor to lead the registration of its Oman branch as an International Non‑Governmental Organization (INGO). The consultant will guide the organization through all legal and regulatory steps required by Omani authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit all documentation required for INGO registration in Oman.
• Obtain necessary governmental approvals, authorizations, and registrations.
• Advise on Omani legal, regulatory, labor, tax, and operational requirements.
• Develop a compliant operational framework for the new branch.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with Omani authorities throughout the registration process.

Required profile

• Qualified legal professional with extensive experience in NGO registration and corporate compliance.
• Proven track record of engaging with Omani government agencies.
• Strong understanding of Omani non‑profit, tax, labor, and regulatory law.
