Legal Manager

About the role

The Legal Manager will lead all legal, corporate, and transactional activities for the company and its subsidiaries throughout construction and operational phases. This senior position ensures regulatory compliance, mitigates risk, and provides strategic legal support to drive business growth and investment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee contracts, corporate governance, compliance, and commercial transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate vendor, service, and construction agreements.
• Ensure legal accuracy, risk mitigation, and alignment with business objectives.
• Maintain compliance with SEZAD/OPAZ regulations and other applicable laws.
• Oversee regulatory filings, licensing, and commercial registration updates.
• Liaise with government authorities, regulators, and external counsel.
• Support corporate transactions such as joint ventures, acquisitions, restructuring, and financing.
• Conduct legal due diligence and assist in transaction execution.
• Advise senior management on legal risks, opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
• Manage disputes, claims, and potential litigation, including drafting legal notices.
• Develop internal legal policies, governance frameworks, and provide training to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.
• 7–10 years of legal experience, preferably with law‑firm exposure.
• Strong background in corporate/commercial law, transactions, and regulatory compliance.
• Admission to practice law in Oman or another recognized jurisdiction.
