Logistics Manager – Recycling & Second‑hand Goods

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to lead end‑to‑end logistics and supply‑chain operations for a recycling and second‑hand goods business operating across the GCC. The role combines commercial acumen with deep knowledge of import/export processes to drive cost efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complete logistics and supply‑chain activities in the UAE and GCC region.
• Coordinate import/export shipments, customs clearance, and freight forwarding.
• Oversee movement of recycled and second‑hand items such as shoes, bags, and textiles.
• Optimize logistics costs and improve overall profitability.
• Collaborate with suppliers, transporters, warehouses, and recycling partners.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and international shipping standards.
• Monitor inventory flow, guarantee timely deliveries, and report performance metrics.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of logistics or supply‑chain management experience.
• Strong GCC experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Mandatory background in recycling or second‑hand goods logistics.
• Proven ability to manage logistics costs and drive profitability.
• Excellent communication in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and leadership skills.
