Media Relations Coordinator (Junior)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Junior Media Relations Coordinator to support the communication outreach and engagement project on EU policies across North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf. The role will provide strategic, technical and logistical communication support to DG MENA, enhancing the visibility and impact of EU initiatives in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning and coordination of press activities, including press trips, media briefings and press conferences.
• Liaise with journalists, media outlets and communication partners.
• Assist in preparing and distributing press releases, media advisories and press packs.
• Maintain and update media contact databases and distribution lists.
• Coordinate media logistics and accreditation for events.
• Monitor media coverage and help prepare press reviews and media reports.
• Support communication teams in implementing media outreach activities.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for media relations initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree (or equivalent) in journalism, communication or media studies.
• Fluent in English; French and/or Arabic are an asset.
• Minimum 2 years of general experience in media or press relations.
• At least 1 year of specific experience coordinating press activities such as press trips, press packs and journalist liaison.
