Medical Representative – Muscat, Oman

About the role

The Medical Representative will promote Hikma pharmaceutical products to doctors and healthcare professionals across Muscat. The role focuses on achieving sales targets while monitoring market competition and gathering feedback on product performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct daily visits to healthcare professionals to present assigned products and company messages.
• Assess the needs of doctors and patients to position product benefits effectively.
• Utilise selling techniques and cost‑benefit analysis to communicate the value proposition.
• Maintain up‑to‑date disease and product knowledge within the assigned therapeutic area.
• Organise and deliver conferences, lectures, and product presentations.
• Build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor market data, competitor activity, and sales performance to identify opportunities.
• Prepare and submit timely sales reports, market surveys, and CRM entries.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and company policies.

Required profile

• B.Sc. degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
• Valid Oman Ministry of Health license.
• Minimum 1‑2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience in Oman.
• Strong communication, planning, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to influence, drive results, and manage relationships.

Required skills

• Computer skills for CRM and reporting tools.
