Network Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Network Administrator to design, implement, and maintain our LAN and WAN infrastructure in line with company policies and industry best practices. The role involves ensuring network reliability, security, and optimal performance across all sites.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and manage LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, hubs, and UPS devices.
• Maintain up‑to‑date network device inventory and ensure all equipment is properly licensed.
• Implement and monitor firewalls, anti‑virus solutions, and intrusion detection systems.
• Configure and monitor site‑to‑site VPN connections and ensure they remain operational.
• Prepare RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, and related documentation for IT projects.
• Maintain Active Directory, apply patches, and keep servers and workstations updated.
• Perform regular backups, manage disaster‑recovery sites, and execute restoration procedures as required.
• Produce performance and security reports for management and liaise with hardware/software vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in network and system administration, preferably in a financial services environment.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, Network+ or equivalent are a plus.
