Operations Manager – Hospitality

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day‑to‑day running of multiple dining concepts for a leading hospitality group in Muscat, Oman. The role combines strategic planning, operational excellence and team leadership to ensure consistent guest experiences across all outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategy, planning and timely execution across all stores, ensuring adherence to standards, policies and procedures.
• Develop, standardise and continuously improve SOP frameworks and operational systems.
• Maintain operational readiness, accurate billing, transaction integrity and equipment maintenance.
• Oversee inventory control, stock accuracy, waste reduction and vendor performance.
• Ensure compliance with local municipality, food safety, hygiene and safety regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement through audits, quality controls and digital initiatives.
• Manage franchise‑franchisor communication and enforce franchisor requirements.
• Recruit, train, motivate and retain staff; conduct performance reviews and handle employee grievances.
• Monitor sales performance, implement upselling strategies and optimise profit margins.
• Prepare and share daily, weekly and monthly operational reports with management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality or Business Administration.
• Minimum 10 + years of experience in operations management within the hospitality or restaurant sector.
• Proven track record of leading multi‑site operations and achieving sales and profitability targets.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
