Oracle Hyperion Planning Functional Expert

About the role

Namasys is hiring an Oracle Hyperion Planning functional expert for an onsite position in Oman. The role provides functional ownership and expert support for Hyperion Planning within the Maliyah platform, covering budgeting, forecasting, reporting and continuous improvement of financial planning processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own and support Hyperion Planning after implementation, keeping the system stable and improving user adoption.
• Lead budget preparation, execution and oversight, including receipts, annual revenues, forecasts, projections and cash forecasting.
• Design, configure and maintain planning applications, models, business rules, workflows, approvals, data forms and user security.
• Manage Oracle EPMA application design and metadata.
• Develop and enhance budgeting and management reports using Hyperion Planning, Financial Reporting (FR) and EPRCS.
• Work with Hyperion Essbase on multidimensional models, calculations, aggregations and performance.
• Coordinate with FDMEE and Data Management teams on data loads, mappings, validations and reconciliations.
• Act as the functional escalation point for complex planning and budgeting issues, and provide end-user support and troubleshooting.
• Deliver user training, workshops and knowledge transfer, and improve planning efficiency and reporting quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, Accounting, Business Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning in complex enterprise or government environments.
• Ability to turn business and financial requirements into effective Hyperion Planning solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, working with finance users, technical teams and senior stakeholders.
• Preferred: advanced degree or Oracle Hyperion/EPM certifications.
