Resident Engineer (Penetration Tester) - Onsite Oman

About the role

A long-term onsite assignment is open for an experienced Resident Engineer (Penetration Tester) to support a client's cybersecurity initiatives in Oman. The role covers advanced security assessments, vulnerability analysis and penetration testing activities at the client office. Candidates from inside and outside Oman are welcome.

Required profile

• OSCP certification or an equivalent recognized penetration testing certification
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network, web application and infrastructure penetration testing
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices, network security and threat modeling
• Willingness to comply with client security policies, NDAs and confidentiality requirements

Required skills

• Advanced exploitation techniques and vulnerability assessment and analysis
• Security reporting aligned with OWASP and NIST frameworks
• Hands-on use of Metasploit, Burp Suite and Nessus
• Ability to produce detailed technical reports, executive summaries and actionable remediation recommendations
