Oracle Hyperion Technical Expert

About the role

Namasys is hiring an Oracle Hyperion Technical Expert for an onsite position in Oman. The role administers, maintains and provides technical support for the Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) environment within the Maliyah platform, keeping the system stable, secure, performant and available after implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain and optimise the Oracle Hyperion EPM environment, acting as the technical escalation point for complex issues raised by the primary support team.
• Design, configure and maintain Hyperion environments (DEV, TEST, PROD), security, integrations and performance tuning.
• Manage Oracle Hyperion Essbase, including cube design, calculation scripts, data load rules and performance optimisation.
• Configure data integrations with FDMEE and Data Management, including source connectivity, mappings, validations, automation and reconciliation.
• Support Financial Reporting (FR) and Enterprise Performance Reporting Cloud Service (EPRCS), including report deployment, scheduling, security and integration.
• Implement patches, upgrades and environment changes following Oracle best practices and change management procedures.
• Develop technical solutions with functional Hyperion experts and maintain technical documentation such as SOPs and troubleshooting guides.
• Support backup, recovery and disaster recovery, and provide technical training and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience implementing, administering and supporting Oracle Hyperion EPM platforms in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of Hyperion architecture, environment management, patching, upgrades, backups, disaster recovery and Oracle database integrations.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, analytical and communication skills.
• Preferred: advanced degree or relevant Oracle professional certifications.

Required skills

• Oracle Hyperion Planning and EPMA, including metadata management, security administration and lifecycle management.
• Oracle Hyperion Essbase, including cube design, calculation scripts and load rules.
• FDMEE and Data Management integrations.
• Financial Reporting (FR) and EPRCS.
