Oracle IDAM Expert

About the role

An experienced Oracle Identity and Access Management (IDAM) Expert is sought to design, deploy, administer, integrate and secure identity management solutions for a large-scale national Public Financial Management (PFM) system programme in Oman. The position is onsite and requires 8+ years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade and maintain Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Oracle Identity Manager/Identity Governance (OIM/OIG), Oracle Unified Directory (OUD), Oracle Internet Directory (OID) and Oracle Adaptive Access Manager (OAAM).
• Manage WebLogic domains, clusters, patches and performance tuning; conduct planned and unplanned IDAM drills.
• Integrate IDAM with Oracle E-Business Suite, WebCenter, OBIEE, SOA, APEX and third-party systems using SAML, OAuth, REST APIs and related protocols.
• Develop custom adapters, SOA composites, event handlers and connectors, and automate identity lifecycle workflows (joiner, mover, leaver).
• Implement RBAC, ABAC, least privilege and segregation of duties; run access reviews, governance audits and access attestation campaigns.
• Support ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST and other security policies, provide Level-3 production support and root cause analysis, and maintain SOPs, runbooks, backups and disaster recovery documentation.
• Define IAM roadmaps, policies, standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant Oracle IDAM experience.
• Expertise in designing, architecting and implementing Oracle IDAM components (OAM, OID/OUD, OIM/OIG, OAAM, OIF).
• Hands-on experience with PKI National Card integration.
• Experience designing identity lifecycle architecture and in capacity planning, high availability, disaster recovery and clustering.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of SSO, MFA and federation protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation and communication skills.
