People & Culture Supervisor (Hotel)

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Muscat is seeking a People & Culture Supervisor to join its People & Culture team. The role focuses on delivering seamless HR services, fostering employee engagement, and supporting the hotel’s operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment activities, coordinate interviews, prepare offers/contracts, and facilitate the hiring process.
• Execute onboarding, off‑boarding, and employee lifecycle processes for assigned business units.
• Promote positive employee relations and support initiatives that boost engagement, productivity, and morale.
• Administer People & Culture policies, ensure compliance, and maintain accurate employee records.
• Oversee colleague communication channels, including noticeboards and internal engagement platforms.
• Plan, coordinate, and support colleague engagement activities and events.
• Maintain colleague facilities such as locker rooms, cafeteria, rest areas, and notice boards.
• Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the manager.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business Management, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within hospitality, hotel, or tourism.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proactive, people‑oriented, and service‑driven approach.
• Commitment to professional ethics and values.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
