Planning Engineer - Railway Projects

About the role

A Planning Engineer is needed for railway projects, working on developing, updating and monitoring project schedules. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6
• Prepare baseline programmes, look-ahead schedules and progress reports
• Monitor actual progress against planned targets and identify schedule deviations
• Conduct critical path analysis and recommend recovery plans for delays
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, procurement and subcontractor teams
• Prepare progress reports, S-curves, resource histograms and project forecasts
• Support delay analysis, extension of time (EOT) claims and schedule risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with project milestones and contractual requirements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5-8 years of planning experience in construction or infrastructure projects
• Railway or metro project experience is mandatory
• Candidates currently in Oman or available to relocate are welcome to apply

Required skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project
• Experience in project scheduling, progress monitoring and delay analysis
• Strong analytical, reporting and coordination skills
