Senior Site Engineer – Civil

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer – Civil to lead civil construction activities on railway substations and shade structures within our rail project team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day‑to‑day civil construction for railway substations and shade structures.
• Ensure execution of foundations, concrete works, structural elements and related civil works according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with MEP, electrical, structural and other project teams for smooth execution.
• Monitor subcontractors, site progress, manpower and construction materials.
• Maintain compliance with project specifications, quality standards, HSE requirements and approved method statements.
• Work with QA/QC teams for inspections, testing and approval of completed works.
• Review construction drawings, resolve site technical issues and liaise with the technical office.
• Prepare daily site reports and ensure activities align with the project schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant civil construction experience.
• Previous experience in railway projects, substations, utility buildings or shade structures is highly preferred.
• Strong background in foundations, reinforced concrete works and structural construction.
• Experience with main contractors on infrastructure or railway projects is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong site supervision, planning, coordination and problem‑solving skills.
