Senior Installation Engineer

About the role

KONE is seeking a Senior Installation Engineer to lead site supervision, ensure safety, quality and productivity during elevator and escalator installations, and manage handovers to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise site safety, quality and productivity, raise and act on corrective actions for any non‑conformities.
• Plan and organise installation activities, logistics, material deliveries and resource allocation.
• Maintain site readiness, conduct audits, verify execution plans and manage cost and schedule.
• Lead customer relationship on site, ensure satisfaction through proactive communication.
• Develop and manage the performance of the installation team and subcontractors, ensuring training and competence.
• Drive continuous improvement using LEAN principles, identify waste and implement improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of elevator/escalator installation experience.
• Strong leadership and team‑management skills on‑site.
• Excellent communication in English and Arabic.
• Solid health and safety knowledge.

Required skills

• Knowledge of KONE installation methods and tools.
• Experience with risk assessment and site preparation.
• Ability to manage site logistics, material receipt and documentation.
