Plant Accountant

About the role

Kerry, a global leader in taste and nutrition, is seeking a Plant Accountant for its manufacturing site in Falaj Al Qabail, Sohar, Oman. The role supports the Regional Finance Controller and the Operations team, ensuring accurate financial reporting and cost analysis for the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly management reports, including plant performance commentary, cost reports, KPI reporting, and inventory analysis.
• Analyse material movements in SAP, reconcile variances, and drive corrective actions.
• Manage inventory write‑offs, participate in physical counts, and support fixed‑asset tagging, annual counts and disposals.
• Maintain P2P controls, review open purchase orders and coordinate with the Global Business Services team to close the Material Ledger on schedule.
• Partner with Supply Chain to review weekly material costs and ensure accurate product costing.
• Execute financial accounting duties in line with Kerry Group policies and local regulatory requirements.
