Project Manager - Trade Finance & Liquidity Management

About the role

The Project Manager will lead and manage complex initiatives in Trade Finance and Liquidity Management for a banking client. This position requires deep knowledge of banking products, regulatory frameworks, and proven project‑management expertise to deliver solutions on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional teams (business analysts, IT developers, operations, legal, compliance) to design and implement Trade Finance and Liquidity Management systems.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations and risk‑management strategies, following Waterfall, Agile or hybrid methodologies.
• Act as primary communication hub, providing status updates, escalating issues and managing senior stakeholder expectations.
• Apply domain expertise in letters of credit, guarantees, supply‑chain finance, cash‑sweeping, pooling and payment‑system integration to ensure regulatory compliance (Basel III, AML, KYC, sanctions).
• Monitor project budgets, track expenditures and report financial performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science or related field; project‑management certification is a plus.
• 10‑12 years of progressive IT experience with at least 5 years in a banking project‑management role, including Oracle Digital Banking implementations.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end Trade Finance processes and Liquidity Management products.
