Business Analyst – Wholesale Banking – Immediate Requirement

About the role

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support the wholesale banking transformation and system enhancement initiatives for a fast‑growing digital transformation consultancy operating in the ME region. The role will act as a key interface between business units, IT delivery teams, vendors and governance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, elicit and document business, functional and non‑functional requirements for corporate, transaction, trade finance and lending systems.
• Produce high‑quality artefacts such as Business Requirements Documents, functional specifications, user stories, process maps and data flows.
• Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs and sign‑off sessions with stakeholders across wholesale banking, operations, finance, risk and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure alignment with business strategy, IT roadmap and enterprise architecture.
• Support UAT planning and execution, manage change requests, impact assessments and production rollout support.
• Ensure requirements address regulatory, security, operational and performance considerations.
• Conduct feasibility assessments and evaluate solution options for wholesale banking initiatives.
• Maintain and update requirement traceability matrices throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services, preferably in Oman or GCC.
• Strong exposure to wholesale banking systems including corporate, transaction, trade finance and lending.
• Experience with vendor‑led implementations, UAT, change management and production support.
• Relevant Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, PMI‑PBA or equivalent) preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
• Immediate availability preferred, with preference for candidates able to join within 30 days.
