Private Chef for a UHNWF Family in Oman

About the role

Apt Resources is recruiting a skilled and experienced Private Chef to work for an Omani family in Oman. The chef prepares daily meals, plans menus according to the family's preferences, keeps high standards of food hygiene and ensures the kitchen is clean and well organised. The position can be live-in or live-out.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily meals for the family according to their preferences and dietary requirements
• Plan menus and recommend dishes suited to the family's tastes and lifestyle
• Prepare a variety of cuisines and dishes, using fresh ingredients and appropriate cooking techniques
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness and food safety
• Manage kitchen supplies, monitor ingredient availability and prepare shopping lists when needed
• Ensure proper storage, handling and preservation of food items
• Maintain kitchen equipment, utensils and cooking areas in good working condition
• Accommodate special dietary requirements, food allergies and meal preferences
• Coordinate meal preparation schedules with the family or household staff
• Keep meals prepared and served according to the family's schedule and expectations
• Maintain discretion and professionalism in a private household

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Private Chef, Household Chef, Personal Cook or in a similar culinary role
• Proven ability to prepare a wide range of meals and cuisines to a high standard
• Experience catering to individual or family preferences and dietary requirements
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage daily meal preparation
• Willingness to work on a live-in or live-out basis in Oman

Required skills

• Good knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen hygiene and food safety
• Ability to plan menus and manage ingredients efficiently
• Trustworthy, discreet and professional approach

What we offer

• Salary of OMR 500 to 600 per month
• Live-in or live-out arrangement
