Procurement and Quality Specialist

About the role

Homzmart, an end-to-end community connecting home professionals with homeowners, is hiring a full-time Procurement and Quality Specialist in Al Abageyah. The role covers pre-delivery quality checks, managing the factory and supplier network, purchasing and quality control of locally manufactured products.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed pre-delivery quality checks on finished furniture items.
• Manage the factory and supplier network, purchasing activities and quality control of locally manufactured products.
• Verify compliance with approved specifications, dimensions, materials, finishing and craftsmanship, including drawings, samples, quantities, quality standards and project deadlines.
• Identify and document defects or non-conformities and coordinate with sellers to resolve issues before shipment.
• Approve or reject products for delivery based on inspection results.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, manufacturing, supplier management or QC.
• Experience in furniture, FF&E, interior fit-out, manufacturing, hospitality or project-based procurement is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of furniture manufacturing and materials.
• Willingness to conduct regular factory visits and supplier inspections.

• Good understanding of QC and manufacturing inspection processes.
• Strong Excel and reporting skills.
• Good English communication skills.
