Project Engineer

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is for a Project Engineer based in Bawshar. The engineer will manage and execute project plans, ensuring quality, efficiency and timely delivery of deliverables for Jibal Al Hajar’s tourism‑related construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules and monitor progress.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors and suppliers.
• Oversee engineering designs and ensure they meet project specifications.
• Guarantee compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical solutions and troubleshoot issues during execution.
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, delivering updates and addressing requirements.
• Track budgets, resources and timelines to keep projects on track.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in project engineering and project planning.
• Proven expertise in project management, including timeline, resource and budget oversight.
• Proficiency in electrical engineering concepts, designs and applications, especially in construction.
• Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with team members, stakeholders and contractors.
• Willingness and ability to work on‑site in Bawshar, adhering to all regulatory and safety standards.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
