About the role
The Public Relations Manager will act as the single point of contact between the company and government authorities, ensuring all statutory approvals and permits are obtained on time for projects in Free Zones and the mainland. This senior role supports seamless project mobilisation and operational continuity.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the acquisition of construction permits, environmental approvals, industrial licences and utility clearances.
- Coordinate with OPAZ, Free Zone authorities and other regulators, facilitating site inspections and compliance reviews.
- Maintain readiness for audits, inspections and ensure ongoing regulatory, environmental and safety compliance.
- Manage land allocation, civil works, and utility connection approvals.
- Provide real‑time status updates to project teams and senior management.
- Identify regulatory risks, escalate issues and develop contingency plans.
- Maintain detailed trackers and regular reporting on approval progress.
Required profile
- 15‑20 years of experience in project coordination, government liaison or regulatory operations.
- Proven track record in industrial or infrastructure projects, preferably within Oman.
- Hands‑on experience with Free Zone or large‑scale project approvals.
- Strong knowledge of Oman’s regulatory environment and authority processes.
