Public Relations Officer (PRO - Omani Only)

About the role

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) will provide essential support to the Government Relations leadership team, ensuring smooth interaction with government agencies, embassies and internal departments. This full‑time role is based in Al Mouj, Muscat and is open to Omani nationals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Government Relations leadership in managing government‑related tasks, embassy liaison and administrative functions.
• Maintain petty cash, keep original receipts and prepare timely expense reports.
• Process government transactions and coordinate visits to ministries and agencies to avoid penalties and additional fees.
• Establish and nurture working relationships with key ministries such as Interior, Municipality, Economy and Commerce, Business and Trade, and other relevant agencies.
• Collaborate with HR and Administration to ensure timely completion of government and administrative formalities.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain professional appearance and protect confidential information.
• Provide courteous guest service, answer phones with proper etiquette and prepare accurate written documents.
• Perform light physical tasks such as moving objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year related work experience.
• Omani nationality (as indicated by “Omani Only”).
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
