Quantity Surveyor / Estimator – Interior Fit‑Out Projects (Oman)

About the role

The successful candidate will join a fast‑growing interior design and fit‑out firm in Oman, delivering high‑end commercial, hospitality, retail and corporate interiors. Reporting to the commercial team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing budgets and providing commercial support throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for interior fit‑out projects.
• Review tender documents, drawings and specifications to identify scope and requirements.
• Conduct quantity take‑offs and cost‑planning exercises.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare tender submissions, commercial proposals and cost reports.
• Monitor project costs, variations and change orders during execution.
• Assist in contract administration and prepare monthly valuations and forecasts.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors on commercial matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator in interior fit‑out, preferably on luxury hospitality or high‑end commercial projects.
• Previous work in the Middle East or GCC region is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of local and international construction contracts and commercial practices.
• Willingness to relocate to Oman.
