Sales Engineer - Pumps & Compressors

About the role

Global Pavilion LLC (GPL) is looking for a Sales Engineer specialised in pumps and compressors to support its growing portfolio in the Oil & Gas, utilities, infrastructure and mining sectors across Oman and the GCC. The role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to drive sales of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps as well as reciprocating compressors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for API and non‑API centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps and reciprocating compressors.
• Prepare and submit techno‑commercial proposals, manage bid processes and negotiate contracts with clients.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers and provide after‑sales support to ensure project success.
• Collaborate with international partners and joint‑venture teams on high‑value projects.
• Monitor market trends in oil & gas, utilities, infrastructure and mining to inform sales strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 + years of experience in industrial sales, preferably within the GCC.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex bids and achieve sales targets.
• Valid Omani or GCC driving licence.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSc or HND) or equivalent.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of API and non‑API centrifugal pumps.
• Expertise in positive displacement pumps.
• Understanding of reciprocating compressors.
